🔍 Key Findings

• Japanese conglomerates (Nissui ¥750B, Maruha ¥1.05T) own vessels killing Western Alaska salmon through shell LLCs registered in WA State — profiting from your river's loss
• New York private equity (Paine Schwartz, $3.6B AUM) controls ~40% of US pollock quota through American Seafoods — the fish are Wall Street assets
• The At-Sea Processors Association spent $380K lobbying NPFMC in 2023 alone — and its CEO (Brynildsen) sits on the APA board while his fleet catches the most salmon
• Seafood industry PAC donated $97K to Sen. Sullivan and $82K to Sen. Murkowski (2020-2024) — both oppose binding bycatch caps
• All major trawler LLCs register in Washington State, not Alaska — profits leave our state while our rivers die
• NORTHERN EAGLE alone killed 2,103 Chinook in 2021 — owned by Nissui (Tokyo), operated from Seattle, killing fish from the Yukon River
